Added· 2

  • Durga: the goddess's face as it is drawn for Durga Puja, with the third eye, sweeping brows, long eyes and nose ring. It is listed with the Hindu icons.
  • Dhak: the Bengali festival drum with its plumes of kash flowers, also listed with the Hindu icons.

Added· 2

  • DynamicIcon in the new xiod-icons/dynamic entry renders an icon by its kebab-case name, such as <DynamicIcon name="arrow-down" />, for names that come from data. Each icon loads on demand as its own chunk, with an empty placeholder of the same size or your fallback until it arrives. The entry also exports iconNames, isIconName, dynamicIconImports and the IconName type. Apps that don't import it are unaffected.
  • Hovering an icon in your editor shows its name, its DynamicIcon name and a link to preview it on icons.xiod.dev.

Fixed· 2

  • require("xiod-icons") and the other entries now work from CommonJS, for example in Jest, on Node 20.19+ and 22.12+. Before, Node rejected them with "No exports main defined".
  • import { Search } from "xiod-icons/icons/Search" now finds its types under TypeScript's older moduleResolution: "node" setting.

Changed· 1

  • The React peer range is now ^18.0.0 || ^19.0.0, the versions XiodIcons is tested with. It no longer claims support for future major versions.

Fixed· 1

  • Icons can be passed anywhere a ComponentType<SVGProps<SVGSVGElement>> is expected, such as another library's icon prop. In 1.1.0 the narrower radius type made TypeScript reject them there. radius now accepts any string, as React's SVG types do; a value outside the scale renders as lg.

Added· 2

  • radius prop: set the corner roundness of any icon on a Tailwind-style scale — none, xs, sm, md, lg, xl, 2xl, 3xl and full — or as a number of 24 × 24 canvas units. It works with every variant and texture. Circles, rings and other shapes that are round by nature keep their shape.
  • IconRadius type for the scale.

Changed· 1

  • Every icon now draws its corners through the radius scale, at lg unless you set radius. Pass another value to make the whole set sharper or rounder.

Initial public release.

Added· 7

  • 5,435 rounded React icons on a 24 × 24 canvas with a 1.5 stroke, each its own tree-shakeable module, importable from xiod-icons or xiod-icons/icons/<Name>.
  • Six variants through the variant prop: outline (default), duotone, filled, pixel, glass and dotted.
  • Ten procedural textures through the texture prop — paper, fabric, concrete, wood, metal, marble, leather, carbon, ceramic and terrazzo — drawn with SVG patterns and filters, with no images to load.
  • secondaryColor and gradient for duotone accents and two-color gradients, textureOpacity and noise for material strength and grain.
  • size, color, strokeWidth and absoluteStrokeWidth, plus every standard SVG prop and a forwarded ref.
  • Accessible by default: icons are hidden from assistive technology unless you give them a title, which names them as an image.
  • TypeScript declarations, including IconProps, IconComponent, IconVariant and IconTexture. No runtime dependencies beyond React 18 or later.
